New organisation structure of AFC Consultants International GmbH, Bonn
Since 1973 AFC Consultants International GmbH, Bonn implemented projects in more than 150 countries, generating a turnover of app. 6 Mio. Euro in the year 2006 for services in projects abroad. Recently, the department for international services and the department for services on the domestic market were legally separated in two companies and the structure of shareholders changed:
Retroactive to 1.1.2007, GOPA WORLDWIDE CONSULTANTS, Bad Homburg holds 70% of the shares of AFC Consultants International GmbH.
The merging strengthens the competitiveness of both companies on the international markets. AFC Consultants International GmbH is now in a position to benefit from the advantages of the overall GOPA-Group, but will continue to provide independently qualified consultancy services in the established fields of work, like:
- Regional and Community Development
- Agriculture and Food Industry
- SME-Development
- Financial Systems / Micro Credit
- Good Governance and Decentralisation
- Environment, Natural Resources Management
The headquarter of AFC Consultants International GmbH remains in Bonn in the same building as AFC Management Consulting AG, that provides consultancy services mainly for private clients in Germany.
Starting from 1. July 2007, Mr. Johannes Buschmeier and Mr. Hans Otto have been appointed as Managing Directors and Mr. Jochen Ressman obtained procura.

Die AFC Consultants International, Bonn verfügt seit 1973 über Projekterfahrungen in rund 150 Ländern und erzielte im Jahre 2006 einen Umsatz von etwa 6 Mio. Euro im Ausland. Der Auslands- und Inlandsbereich der AFC sind kürzlich juristisch getrennt worden und die Gesellschafterstruktur hat sich geändert:
Rückwirkend zum 1.1.2007 hat sich die GOPA Gesellschaft für Organisation, Planung und Ausbildung GmbH, Bad Homburg mit 70% an der AFC Consultants International GmbH beteiligt. Damit stärken beide Unternehmen ihre Wettbewerbssituation am internationalen Markt. Die AFC Consultants International kann die Vorteile der GOPA-Gruppe nutzen und wird weiterhin eigenständig in ihren Arbeitsgebieten
- Ländliche und regionale Entwicklung
- Agrar- und Ernährungswirtschaft
- Wirtschafts- und Beschäftigungsförderung
- Finanzsystementwicklung
- Stärkung der Zivilgesellschaft und Demokratieförderung

Die AFC Consultants International firmiert auch zukünftig am Standort Bonn unter einem Dach mit der AFC Management Consulting AG, die vorwiegend private Mandanten in Deutschland berät.
Als Geschäftsführer der AFC Consultants International GmbH wurden zum 1.7.2007 Herr Johannes Buschmeier und Herr Hans Otto bestellt, Herrn Jochen Ressman wurde Prokura verliehen.
