Delegation of the Russian Association of Agricultural Consultants (AAK) visits Germany

On behalf of the Federal Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection/GFA, AFC Consultants International is organizing a study tour for members of the Association of Agricultural Consultants of the Russian Federation between December 10-15, 2007 to Halle and Berlin. |

In the scope of the development of innovative agricultural consultation in the Russian Federation and the advanced training of agricultural consultants, the study tour to Germany is used to present the relevant organisational structure of the German system in the field of extension services in the agricultural sector. The Delegation will visit the Federal Ministry of Food, Agricultural and Consumer Protection in Berlin, the Federal Ministry of Sachsen-Anhalt and the University in Halle.
Since the beginning of the project "Strengthening of Further Qualification for Agricultural Extensionists in the Russian Federation" in 2002, implemented by AFC Consultants International GmbH, training seminars and workshops have been carried out for agricultural consultants and academic employees. Within this context, the Association of Agricultural Consultants (
www.aak-russia.ru) was established. Membership is open to all national and international extensionists and companies with interest to develop the agricultural sector in Russian Federation.
